Day 1
Arrival / Hanoi

On arrival in Hanoi, Vietnam, you will be greeted by your tour guide and escorted to your hotel in downtown Hanoi. Check into the hotel and then enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Hanoi

Things to do for today: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum , Ho Chi Minh's House on Stilts , One Pillar Pagoda , Museum of Ethnology , Old Quarter of Hanoi (by Rickshaw) , Hoan Kiem Lake , Ngoc Son Temple , Water Puppet Show , Temple of Literature , Hoa Lo Prison

After breakfast, visit some major historic sites, including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh's House on Stilt, One Pillar Pagoda, Hoa Lo Prison and Temple of Literature.

In the afternoon, explore the Museum of Ethnology and tour the Old Quarter of Hanoi by rickshaw (about 1 hour). Conclude the tour today at Hoan Kiem Lake to visit Ngoc Son Temple and enjoy a Water Puppet Show with Vietnamese traditional culture.

Day 3
Hanoi / Halong Bay

Things to do for today: Halong Bay Cruise

After breakfast, be escorted to Halong Bay to board a Halong Bay cruise. After lunch on board, visit the Vung Vieng Floating Fishing Village by kayaking. The cruise will be a real ocean adventure as you can choose from a variety of optional activities like kayaking, swimming and diving, and admire the breathtaking scenery with nearly 2,000 limestone islands dotting the sea.

Day 4
Halong Bay / Hanoi / Hue

Things to do for today: Halong Bay Cruise

Practice Tai Chi on the open deck before having light breakfast on board. Later, explore Thien Canh Son Cave with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. After brunch on board, disembark from the cruise, and be escorted by your guide and driver to Hanoi Airport (around 3 hours) for late afternoon flight to Imperial City - Hue. Upon arrival, be transferred to your hotel, and spend the rest of the time at leisure.

Hue

Things to do for today: Royal Tomb of King Minh Mang , Perfume River , Thien Mu Pagoda , Imperial Citadel , Forbidden Purple City , Dong Ba Market

After breakfast, visit the Royal Tomb of King Minh Mang, and then sail the Perfume River by Royal Dragon Boat to visit the seven-storey Thien Mu Pagoda. Proceed to the Imperial Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City. Afterward, explore the bustling Dong Ba Market.

Day 6
Hue / Danang / Hoi An

Things to do for today: Hai Van Pass, Non Nuoc Beach, Cham Museum, Marble Mountains

After breakfast, drive toward Hoi An with stopovers at Hai Van Pass, Cham Museum, Marble Mountains, and Non Nuoc Beach. Upon arrival in the afternoon, check in to your hotel and enjoy some free time on your own.

Hoi An

Things to do for today: Japanese Bridge , Chinese Temple , Vietnamese former merchants house , Thanh Ha Pottery village

After breakfast, explore the tiny town of Hoi An, and visit the Japanese Bridge, the Chinese Temple, and the Vietnamese former merchant's house. In the afternoon, take a boat along the Hoai River to Thanh Ha Pottery village to learn about the local traditional way of making potteries.

Day 8
Hoi An / Danang / Ho Chi Minh City

Things to do for today: Ben Thanh Market, War Remnants, Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat), Notre Dame Cathedral

After breakfast, be escorted to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, explore Ben Thanh Market. Later, visit the War Remnants, the Notre Dame Cathedral from the outside, Old Saigon Post Office, and Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat). The rest of the time is left for you to explore on your own.

Ho Chi Minh City / Cu Chi Tunnels / Ho Chi Minh City

Ho Chi Minh City / My Tho / Can Tho

Things to do for today: My Tho Tour

After breakfast, depart for My Tho for a Mekong Delta tour. You will visit a local market, take a boat cruise around four charming islets, sip a cup of honey tea at a local family, and row on a sampan along the Mekong River.

Afterward, drive to Can Tho for overnight.

After lunch at a local restaurant for exotic cuisine, visit Ta Prohm Temple and Ta Keo Temple. Afterward, you will have some leisure time.

Siem Reap / Luang Prabang

Things to do for today: Khmer Village , Tonle Sap Lake , Night Market

After a visit to Khmer Village, you will board a boat cruise on the Tonle Sap Lake. Afterward, be transferred to the airport for your afternoon flight to Luang Prabang, Laos. Upon your arrival, be escorted to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy the rest of the time at leisure. You may stroll around the Night Market on your own if you like.

This morning, you will observe the morning alms-giving ritual and visit the Morning Market or Phousi Market. After breakfast, visit Wat Xieng Thong, Wat Visoun, and the Royal Palace Museum. Afterward, head to the beautiful Khouang Si Waterfall with turquoise pools and winding forest trails. After lunch near the waterfall, drive back to Luang Prabang with a short stop at Ban Na Ouane Village. If you like, ascend to Mountain Phousi to enjoy the breathtaking sunset.

In the afternoon, explore the more peaceful and greener parts of Bangkok by taking a long-tail boat ride along the canal. Afterward, visit Wat Arun, one of the most published images of Bangkok.

Day 21
Bangkok / Ayutthaya / Bangkok

Things to do for today: Bang Pa-In Summer Palace , Wat Maha That , Ayutthaya Historical Park

After breakfast, drive north to Ayutthaya for a journey back in time to the former capital and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will firstly visit Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, one of Thailand's most beautiful summer palaces. Later, proceed Ayutthaya Historical Park to learn about the history behind Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, admire the Buddha's head within a tree in Wat Mahathat, and see the huge bronze Buddha inside Wihan Phra Mongkhon Bophit.

Afterward, drive back to your hotel in Bangkok.
